Bolinao, Pangasinan: Falls, Rock Formations & Beaches

I've been eyeing Bolinao since last year and was actually the first choice for our family's year ender trip. Unfortunately, the bad weather that time forced us to either cancel or choose another destination instead. We opted for the latter because we really needed that break, we ended up in Zambales & still had a really great time (I blogged about that here)!
Fast forward to 2017's first holiday, I finally went to Bolinao and it was even more special because it was my high school group of friends' first out of town trip.

We're a group of 8 so we hired two tricycles to tour us around. Our first destination was Bolinao Falls 1. We came early and had a longer time enjoying the falls before it got crowded later that morning.
Our tour guides/tricycle drivers told us to just skip Bolinao Falls 2 and go to the less popular but equally beautiful Bolinao Falls 3, and so we did! No regrets with that decision at all because we had the stunning place all for ourselves!
It was lunch time already and we were too tired & hungry to go directly on our next destination. Our guides dropped us off at Enchanted Cave so we can eat (outside the cave, of course haha) first and they will just pick us up at around 1 pm. We were supposed to go inside the cave after having our lunch but we were really exhausted that we just used our time to rest until our guides arrived. Next stop: Bolinao Lighthouse
My expectations for our next destination was pretty high and of course, it didn't disappoint! Say hello to Patar Rock Formations (also the first image on this blog post)
We ended the day at the famous Patar Beach- relaxing while watching the sunset.
This day tour around Bolinao was probably one of the most tiring trips I had but it was so fulfilling & fun. We continued our Pangasinan escapade the next day in Alaminos where the famous 100 Islands National Park is located. Will write about that on my next blog! For now, here's the video of our entire Pangasinan trip!
