Now, the falls is protected by a concrete fence that would prevent people from throwing garbages. There are also cottages and pool in the area where families can go for picnics and swimming. Hinulugang Taktak is now considered a National Park so we should also contribute in preserving and protecting it.

Hinulugang Taktak Falls
I've always heard/read about this falls when I was a kid. I remember reading about this on books saying that it was once very famous but then people started neglecting this gift from nature until it turned out very different from what it was before. Fortunately, the government started rehabilitating this tourist spot and for the first time, I was able to visit the falls. I don't know if it's because I wasn't able to see the falls' original state or it is just still undeniably beautiful.
The most significant difference from the falls before and now is the clarity of water. Before, it was so clear that you can see the fishes swimming below and people were allowed to swim.

So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you Trishie! :)
DeleteThat looks like such a beautiful place. That sounds like a really good idea if it can be protected, so people in generations to come can also enjoy it. <3

This falls look so amazing! It screams nature and beauty with how the water is falling from the rocks. It's always a bummer when people don't respect the place and throw trash around. It's good to hear that there are ways to preserve nature! :)
